Hello, I had an xbox live account for my xbox 360 quite a while ago, I know the gamertag of the account but don't know the email address although if I were to get the email address I'd easily be able to access the account because I know the password to it. I need to access the account because I recently purchased an Xbox One and would like to play on that account. Is there anyway I can find out the email address.

There's a way to go about it on Microsoft if you forgot the account and they will have you send them a lot of information about the account. Old password credit card numbers. I just forgot where to do it. I know it's under forget my password. I think!

Just like the post above you will have to Submit proof that you owned the account but you will need the email, im sure you can call xbox and have them help you access it but i doubt that will do any help. good luck hope you get your account back.
