I am pretty sure season 3 has been confirmed, but there is no air date yet to be released.

Season 3 was confirmed as Madhouse is taking it over from this point. Its expected to air early 2017. But there is no air date yet.

I have heard "around" that its confirmed but im not for sure at the moment. Its basically a big probably I guess lol. Considering that Madhouse is taking it over (which they produced some great anime in the past one punch man, etc..) I think we will get another season.

I do hope that's true, Madhouse are awesome and produced my favourite anime (Hunter x Hunter). I may have to watch the 2nd season of Tokyo Ghoul if it is true.

I liked the first season of Tokyo Ghoul but 2 is really good to watch. I would suggest watching it.
