Are you currently good in your mathematics, English, reading, writing?

Not to offend you but if your not, then I would say go into automotive technician.

When I was in high school, I was in auto tech class , which was my specialty class. In my head, I thought that I couldn't take another career because this is where I started.i said to myself that I had to be a auto technician, but later, I couldn't see myself doing mechanic work day in and day out for the rest of my life,so I went the community college route and now I'm on my second year in electrical engineering.

This is what is real, don't go into if you don't want to. Make sure to choose something that you really love learning about.

I'm a type of person who would rather work with my hands than work on paper, but I love electrical engineering as well, very challenging.

My opinion: if you go into the community college route, there are a variety of careers you can choose from.

If you really like working on cars, then go with auto tech.

I would go with UTI because that is there specialty. It is their duty to find you a job after you are done with their program. They also have a lot of connections. Also, if they have any job fairs, big companies would come to your campus and recruit you.

If you go with the community college route, do some research and talk to their internship office so you can get a clear idea if it will be easy to obtain a job because the whole point after the program is landing a job. that is your only concern here. but there is also a the learning.

Not sure if you can take a tour for auto tech in community college. Their work area might not be as sophisticated as UTI's. Also, in community college, some teacher/professors/technicians might not give much importance as UTI technicians would.

I say neither personally. Just be a general mechanic (diesel mechanic if at all possible). This way you gain skill and get paid while doing it. One of my friends started out as a general mechanic and worked his way up and is now a tech at BMW. He said he had to do a test but that was it.
