Dinkleberg wrote Not sure why everyone is using a K processor. I would assume OP doesn't want to OC. It barely helps on games.

I would much rather have SSD Storage over performance. The 1060 is just fine.

With my build it's only $5 extra so I don't see a reason not to overclock, not sure how much extra 6600k costs though.

The 6600k is $30 more than a 6500. A 6600 isn't really worth it, the non-k at least. Idk probably just me.

ELACTIX wrote Im sorry but am i missing something? How are the 2 above builds a improvement over what i have posted?

Kind regards

Because having a $15 case in a $1000 system is laughable.

To add on, just because your build has a 1070 does not make it better than anyone else's.

No reason not to really. An extra $30 isn't too much, the 6600k is going to be better, even at stock speeds. It also gives OP the option to dip his toes in to oveclocking if he wants. Honestly CPU overclocking is so easy these days, just about everyone should do it IMO. That being said, OP can definitely save $30 and get a locked i5-6500 instead. Also yes, a GTX 1060 will suffice for OP.

Like i said before it is up to the OP if he wants to sacrifice having a shit case and smaller ssd to having a 1070 over a 1060... Theres not much to it really i have already posted before saying the same thing
