Hey guys.
I'm going to be building my first PC (I currently have a gaming PC but I didn't build it myself)
I need a new computer for streaming, my games and stream have a hard time running at high quality because of the shit build i have.
Would this build be able to stream in OBS using the highest settings and playing games like CS:GO, H1Z1, Overwatch, Battlefield, LOL, using the highest graphics settings and running high quality or should I go with a i7-6800k and change the mobo? What do the cores do to make it a difference? (more than likey won't be streaming or gaming at the absolute highest settings but I want to know if it could handle it)
Here are the parts I'm going to be working with.
CPU: Intel i7-6700k
CPU Cooler: NZXT Kraken X61
GPU: EVGA Geforce GTX 1080 8GB SC Gaming ACX 3.0
MOBO: Asus Maximus VIII Formula
Ram: Corsair Vengeance LPX 16gb
SSD: Samsung 850 evo 500GB
HDD: WD Black series 2TB 7200RPM
PSU: EVGA 750W 80+ Bronze Certified Semi-Modular ATX
Also anyone have the MOBO i will be getting? is it good, reliable and worth buying? ($379)
Thanks guys

Now if you are going for looks yes this motherboard is good it comes with a sleek design and even a RGB function. And For cooling wise if you are going to go water cooling if you wish so in the future its a great for that as it cools the vrm directly. It has a great sound configuration and really does what you want. I would recommend this since you are going for looks but you will also get power and its good for doing a 2 way sli / 3 way CF. So Yes it a good mother board with out a doubt and is also very good for gaming obv. So Overall i say its a Go to get it.
Have fun!!

Thanks for the reply, I actually edited the post because no one was responding and I didn't want to make another one, but I'm thinking about just getting it because of what you said and because I'm probably going to have it for atleast 2-3 years so I might as well make it look nice.

For streaming yes but it also depends on you up speed if you have less than 5up i dont think you should stream. gaming yeah you will be able to really play any game you desire at max settings for a long while with the 1080. Yes it can run OBS just fine but the quallity all depends on that bit and your up speed.
The Cores make a difference in rendering, and processes the game is asking it to do. Some games are CPU intensive and others are not but what you saying you are gonna be playing is just fine. But id say also watch it on OBS since for me obs tends to like a lot of CPU %.
But you should be fine overall.

I looked extensively into the mobo you have and after hours of research i decided that it wasn't worth the price, here is the board i am getting, you get so much out of it with a lot better feedback
