I'm on 4.80 and trying to jailbreak using the new jailbreak method. once i put the usb in and stuff with the jailbreak on the usb it says "the data is corrupted" when i try to update my firmware

- Yes the usb is formatted to FAT32
- Yes the fie on the usb was named to "Ps3Updat.pup"

help please

your ps3 has to be on 3.55 to me jailbroken

You can't jailbreak a console that's anything above 3.55 Official Firmware. You can check if your model can be downgraded [ Register or Signin to view external links. ] Your model is the last part of your serial number.
