My parents was super strict on me. I was an idiot in school and constantly being suspended led me and my parents to have a bad relationship, me and my dad would constantly fight and usually end up getting very 'heated' and I would often have to sneak out and lie to meet friends etc. At the time I thought they were being strict just for the fun of it. Now I have realised that it was for my good and they just wanted me to do well in school. Shame I was too much of an ass to realise

Mine were not THAT strict when i was younger, however strict enough to bring me up well.

i suppose parents have too show you the ways of not doing wrong like they probably did, just looking after you, never experienced that with real parents but my fosters ones were good enough for me
