A huge new update just dropped recently for No Man's Sky.
I am very much considering downloading the game again and giving it another go.
The game now has three different modes and the Creative mode sounds interesting as you can just enjoy each planet without having to think of unnecessary resource gathering or health levels.
Building a base sounds like a cool feature as well.

Will you give No Man's Sky another go or did the lack of promised content on release turn you away completely?

I will not be giving it another try. I did not enjoy it at all and I don't see myself having fun trying to play it again.

After being insulted with that rather abysmal ending I have no intentions of playing it again, mainly because I got a refund

I've always thought it was a cool looking game but the devs lying and the lack of content in the game stopped me buying it. If they update it with more things to do where it wont get repetitive and if they include an actual multiplayer mode like they said they would then I'll definitely get it but currently I'm not going to.

I never bought the game, but I think after a few months I will give it a try. I'll probably buy it in the upcoming Steam Winter Sale, if not then the Summer Sale, as I currently can't justify the full $60. Maybe that will change as the game gets updated, however.
