Everyone is different some people think if it happens in a game they can do it. And yes this is true that does happen.

But well over I'd say 97% of the people don't take it that way. This has been a debate known literally forever. Just one simple answer everyone is different.

I used to play GTA when I was around 10, I would play it with my dad. I still play it to this day, I think you have to have a mental illness to copy the game.

I vouch for this guy. I have been playing video games all of my life, especially during my childhood and after playing GTA as a 7 year old, i immediately stole my mums car and went on a killing rampage.

It's clear you're just another moron who either doesn't understand the term 'influence' or you're genuinely ignorant. I recommend you read the additional post I made in this forum.

Follow the shepard for it is better that you follow and copy than live a life of nothing.

Moron? lol. Good one, I was making a sarcastic comment because news tend to blow everything out of preparation about how video games influence people, and to answer your question, No I do not think video games can make somebody do something, unless the person has some mental problems to begin with, if anyone is willing to go on a rampage or kill somebody over a video game they obviously have mental problems to begin with. By the way there is no need to be a complete asshole to me.

It is clear to me you are either unaware that violence has a wide range of behaviours such as unprovoked attacks or outraging bursts, not that if you play a video game you're going to go and shoot up a school, it's an influence of behaviour, they can be minor changes that are psychologically proven. Where did you get news from? I referenced the top psychology studies of America where data is published truly reflective of the findings from the investigation they held.

It doesnt cause people to be violent. People said this because they wanted to blame on this versus blaming the actual reason why they are violent. Sure people can get ideas from video games. But the video game itself doesnt make people violent

No. Your mind has no correlation between stimulation and actualization in that manner. Just because you are playing a violent game doesn't make your mind interpret it as something okay to do. If someone plays a game and is violent, it is because they were already violent before.
