Is it possible to use a console controller for gaming on te pc?

Yes its usually plug and play. Most games will recognize a controller as soon as you plug it in.

So if I downloaded a game on the pc such as mw2 then id be able to connect my xb1 controller??

Yes, the controller would have to be wired or you can get an adapter

Yes it will work just like on Xbox however its not optimal Mouse+KB are much better for shooters.

The new Xbox One Controllers support Bluetooth and with Windows 10 you can seamlessly connect the controller via Bluetooth or Wired. Most AAA games will support controllers although most of my steam games don't.
Steam will tell you if the game has "Full" "Partial" or "None" controller support

Yes. For Xbox 360 controllers you can use the plug and play kit, or you can buy a wireless adapter to sync your controller to.
Xbox one controllers you can just use the wire it came with, almost all Android chargers can work as this wire as well.

Yes with either a micro usb cable or wireless adapter if the controller is wireless, if its wired then just plug it in!

Also if you dont have a compatible game that works with controllers. look up MotionJoy or similar programs that will help you use a controller on that specified game. (only if the game does not support gamepads)
