Edit: My bad please move to support forum if needed Thanks.
But I have this hard drive that I recently have taken out of my PC, but instead of selling was wondering if there was a way i can convert it to work with my xbox one? It needs a SATA to USB im guessing, but just wondering if the xbox one will register it.

Really sorry I didn't specify it is a 3.5" hdd im guessing the xbox one will use a 2.5".
I would have done that if it was a 2.5"

1TB wrote I would pal, but I live in the UK, as well as having this spare HDD lying around.
So the SATA> USB solution would work then?
Im guessing it will definitely need usb 3.0 connection, would this be ok?
with a 3.5 hdd you will need 12v power supply so doubt this will work

You can but you will need an enclosure for it.
