Well today I received a something for you card (royal mail do not leave on doorstep they take back to the sorting office) Asking me to collect 2 parcels, only thing is it's not in my name.

Don't know whether to get them to redeliver and just keep the parcels or just leave it so they go back to the retailer I'm guessing. I mean it's morally correct to leave it but I'f it's something like a mac book then I'm a winner

What should I do?

Keep it and contact the actual owners then give it to them.

Doesn't work that way, only has my address and their name on it.

There is no way of contacting them

Find out where the items are from. Contact them about it. Tell them it's addressed and in the wrong name. Think the R-M keep the items for 30 days before it's sent back.

I would strongly suggest that you don't keep the items as this could be considered stealing but then again it could be their fault. what I would do is look online regarding laws, like in theme parks they normally keep items for about 2 weeks then they keep it i think.

I keep getting mail delivered to my PO box to I guess the previous owner of the PO box.
I told the Post Office the first time it happened that this isn't my mail and to only receive mail with my name on it.
But that didn't help because I'm still getting their mail.
So I opened it up one day, it was an envelope.
Turns out the dude owes like $500 in credit card bills, and a couple hundred for tickets that were never paid.
Kinda feel bad for the guy cause he has all these dues that need to be paid.

Take it back to whatever post office dropped it off. If it isn't yours then don't keep it. Someone obviously had to pay for it with their hard earned money and it probably is a gift or something for Christmas.

So do the right thing and just return the parcels or the key to the post office and say that it isn't you.

Yes I am just leaving it now as its still at the post office awaiting collection. I was told that parcels were jsut destroyed if not picked up so didn't know whether to try and pick it up or leave it, but it turns out they return to the sender if you leave them.
