Why do people still do this? I just joined a party with my buddy and there was a bunch of English people in the party who were throwing insults around and threatening to boot me offline, simply because they didn't know me, so I just ignored them and carried on what I was doing, until I was booted off. Why do people still do this and why don't Microsoft or whatever still not have security against these sort of attacks, I don't know how to stop it from happening to myself either so if anybody knows security measures I can take theyd be much appreciated thanks

Set up a VPN through ethernet. I do it on my Xbox One and it works great with one called Okay Freedom. (I've got premium though)

The question why did you say in a party long enough to get your IP traced if you were getting insulted that was a clear sign to gtfo

You could use a mobile hotspot off a smart phone.
I've seen you maybe could use a VPN and use that as a hotspot on a smartphone too but VPNs usually cant activate on a smartphone when sharing data.

dnasty239 wrote The question why did you say in a party long enough to get your IP traced if you were getting insulted that was a clear sign to gtfocuz one half consisted of people I play with almost every day and the other half consisted of English teenagers who I assumed would talk the talk but not walk the walk, apparently not and now I find myself having trouble connecting to parties.

Ah, okay then, I'll do some research on the Internet before I start setting anything up, thanks for helping

It as easy as using a VPN.
But people do it because they feel cool doing it and it's extremely simple.

Yeah, I'm gonna look into setting up a VPN, I've been told its simple to do and at first I was gonna try do it back to them but I thought what's the point in being the lowlife that does that, I'd rather just move on and not worry about it happening again
