Well, the title says it all really. I had a bad bmx accident back when i was 13, so 9 years ago. I was trying 540's all day, landed quite a few and was lining up for my last one of the day. I got way too much speed leading up to the quarter and as i came back down i completely missed the ramp and landed face first to the side of it. I wasn't knocked out, so instantly sat up and saw blood pouring from my face. I broke my nose, both cheek bones, my jaw, the bone right at the top of the spinal cord/neck, and fractured the front top half of my skull. I was in a neck brace for 8 weeks, went through a 7 hour operation and the whole experience i would definitely not recommend. Wear a helmet!

Watching Scotty Cranmers video really spirited me on to making this, as i've wanted to for a while anyway. Luckily i'm fully recovered with only a few scars to show for it, but Scotty may not be so fortunate. He's doing well so far but he still needs all the help & support he can get, so if you can, send him some!

There was 3 pictures of me in different stages of recovery, first one is only about 50 seconds into the video.
