I believe its just an area that is understandably guarded for reasons that are sufficient. Like, if they are making nuclear weapons there and testing them, then its totally not ok for bob your neighbour to go and check it out on a sunday stroll with his dog. I think because people are declined entry they make stories because it looks suspicious as to why they wouldn't let people in, so people have no other choice but to believe that "human testing" and "aliens" is what Area 51 is about.

It could be something slightly less sinister than everyone thinks. They may be developing Chemical weapons, New technology to help wars, Nuclear weapons and much more overpowered weapons. Shame that we'll probably never know what

Planes, WOMD, and or the casual conspiracy of another race.

What we know is in there so far, besides the rumors would be stealth planes used in bomb testing, nuclear weapons. As many of you should know Area 51 was a nuclear test base, which would make sense. They are in the middle of nowhere for that reason, along with privacy.

Everyone thinks they can just walk on to a military base, because it is in the middle of the desert. No the rules do not change because it has a secret. People wonder why they hire external private armies to guard the base. TO KEEP PEOPLE OUT, how hard is that to understand??
