So I got a new phone and I'm signed into the gmail on my old phone i made the gmail in 2014 so I forgot password I tried submitting a recovery request but they keep saying it's not mine any help

Have you tried getting into contact with Google themselves?

They should be able to help, however did you ever link a phone number to the account or some sort of verification?

If you're signed into gmail on your old phone you can try and adding a phone number to the email and resetting the password that way

As Tend said i would get on your old phone and put your phone number as recovery option and do it that way

I tried contacting them but they say not much proof and I can't sign into the gmail on gmail.com only mail
