Hello guys! I am purchasing a Alienware Steam Machine for Christmas and was wondering about the HDD, could I change it right off the bat without even starting up the machine? or should I start up the machine and go through the first time setup process and then change the HDD?. Would changing the HDD also change the OS of the machine ( which is SteamOS by default) to Windows 10 ( the OS that i have installed on the computer that the HDD is currently in) or would it stay SteamOS?
Any answers are greatly appreciated. Also I'm aware that I suck at spelling.

If you replace the storage device that has your OS on it, you will need to reinstall an OS. You'll need to get a USB with whatever OS you want to install. Also, please don't buy an Alienware PoS, I plead. It will be a huge waste of money.
