My friend is building his first pc this Christmas his budget is $1000 USD. He already has a [ Register or Signin to view external links. ] a [ Register or Signin to view external links. ] and all other peripherals. A $1000 build should be able to max the latest games at 1080p right?

This should do good for him, has a red and black theme like the case he got...

EDIT: If your friend feels like spending $100 more then he should get an i7 6700K, i included an i5 but an i7 would be more ideal for editing and etc.

With a 1080p monitor a 1070 won't make any difference

My friend purchased all the peripherals and bought a [ Register or Signin to view external links. ] he still has $700 left for his budget. Here is his [ Register or Signin to view external links. ] again. He wants to keep the black and red color scheme.

Its a little bit more if he can spend it i would go with this, if not either swap out some of the storage for a lower capacity or lower speed ram and you should be able to keep it @ 700 but here it is

Ok thanks a lot and I think he can squeeze together an extra hundred for an i7. Which one should he get?
