Okay, i'm beyond experienced with firearms and anything that kills but i suck with cars.
I have 2016 Jeep Rubicon. It's fairly new and only has about 7,000 miles on it so far. I was off duty about a week ago and my buddy got his cruiser stuck and called me up to come get him out as you'd get screwed if you called it in over the radio.
So i got him out and on my way home i noticed my engine light went on so i pulled over and checked everything and nothing seemed off. Next day i got the reader and it said evap solenoid malfunction. I checked my gas cap to make sure it was sealed and it was good. I brought it into my buddies shop and he couldn't find anything wrong with the tubes or anything. I thought maybe i pulled a wire and i couldn't find anything.
I have remote start and it's preventing me from starting it which is annoying because it's cold in the morning.
Any ideas on what it could be? I don't know if its from pulling the car out or something unrelated. I really don't want to bring it into the dealership and get charged a thousand dollars for something small.

Sometimes on Jeeps the battery corrodes the vacuum line next to it.
Past that, you're going to have to run down all the vacuum lines. One of the easiest ways (though it could take some time) is have the engine run and pop your head in the engine bay and listen for a small sucking or blowing noise, that'll be your leak.

I wouldn't doubt it, anything can happen on new vehicles lol. We were renting a Jeep Grand Cherokee that only had 300 miles on it and the transmission wouldn't go into any other gear but the top gear (not sure if it was a 6 speed or 8 speed).
More than likely what happened in the batteries have too much acid in them / the caps were loose / you put it on an extreme angle or all of the above, and a small amount of acid leaked onto an evap line melting a hole in it. My friend owns a '14 Rubicon and that happened to him which is the only reason I know about that issue lol.

Well if that's the case then I feel like they should cover it so maybe I should call the dealership, no?

Hell yeah, if it's a new vehicle most things should be covered. I'd always just take it to them because you never know what's under warranty and what's not.
