Apologies, I just got home from work. I'll try to catch up with everyone's questions and catch up with any that haven't been answered by others.
Part of that is just my disdain for people that can't be bothered to take 5 seconds of their own time to find the answer to their questions. I'll always take an ATS if it's open, but it's good to have other staff answering as well.
And honestly, I don't really care for Marvel OR DC. If I had to pick one, I'd say Marvel.
No.
Honestly, the hardest part is time, and coming up with new ideas. Other than that, it's just basic computing related challenges that the average user can be expected to solve given enough time and effort. I will say that hippie and I have both relied on our knowledge of Linux and various programming languages to come up with these challenges in the past.

These days, most of my time goes towards working with new tech or playing games. I always enjoy learning new things, so it's fun to see how I can apply existing knowledge to make new things that people really enjoy (ie: speedcap back in the day)
Typically I come home, respond to any PMs that I have, look into any staff issues that need to be resolved (including scam reports, etc), and then just hang out in the Shoutbox and respond to ATS questions when needed.
The camel thing is entirely Casca's fault. Literally the only thing he talked about whenever he was around.
I don't really have a favorite programming language, but I generally prefer languages with C styled syntax (Java, C#, etc, as opposed to Python and the likes). I primarily use Javascript at work, so that's probably what I'm most fluent with right now.
Honestly, the first line of code I ever wrote was for a patch back when MW2 modding just started taking off. From there, I branched out mostly into web development, which inevitably ended up with me getting a degree in Computer Science.
I've worked on all sorts of projects. Programming was my largest hobby in high school and college, so I was working on something new all the time. I've worked on things from websites, to iPhone apps, Minecraft plugins, networking tools, etc. The largest fully independent project I've finished was speedcap/iCap.
RepBandit wrote @Speed, can you be in charge of answering "ask the staff" threads. They always have a genuine sarcastic taste that comes out that I enjoy reading. But in all seriousness who would win marvel or D.C.?

No.

dah wrote@Speed I know you're into coding whatever coding language you do this is a sort of question leads up to this question. What sort of coding language you prefer the most and why? What started you to code? What sort of projects have you finished, also I like your Rep when you're drunk also have a great New Years.

@Naggy how did you gain such a great username? Are you a hidden Jedi master?
@Dale do you ever party sober? Did you put senior admin on your real life resume?
@RedJ where has Shane been hiding? I haven't seen you much?

@Cent are you a sucker for saki's anime addiction? What do you do for a living? What's your record on madden?
I'll have more later guys
I can answer two questions.
1. I've been away due to work and the holidays. I work weird hours so it's like 6 in the morning till as late as 8 in the afternoon.
2. cent is 0-1 against me and that's all that matters
