My netgesr router has an orange light on the [1] little tab & my internet isn't showing up on my phone nor my xbox. I've reset everything & would appreciate any help on how to do so.

Sorry for being late to this. I have no clue as I can't check it because of its location (parents room). But Xbox has been able to connect, whilst phone can't.

The orange light indicates that you don't have an internet connection. Check the wire going from your filter to your router and make sure it's plugged in both ends.

He just said his Xbox Console connects to the Internet except his mobile device..

Hey man you might just have to reset the netgear router to factory reset (as if it was a brand new router) and set it up all again. The "orange" light can mean different things it all depends on your model.

Diagnose a little bit here, are they blinking?

You need to see what is blinking it could be a service light, or not.

Best bet reset the router for now if that doesn't fix, it could be a internal issue with the battery, might not be charging anymore, plenty of causes of what could be wrong.

Also that's a bit weird of a spot for the router to be, only limited to one room.
