So it's been a while since I've kept up with GPU's even though my system is currently without one, so probably within a month or 2, I'm going to pick one up & I was looking at the
EVGA GTX 1080 Superclocked Gaming ACX 3.0.
I was first looking at the EVGA's FTW variant of the GTX 1080 but came across the no thermal pad problem in manufacturing so I was wondering if anybody knows if there is any existing problems with the Superclocked version of their card or if anybody has any person problems &/or good/bad experiences with this card.

Any ftw card manufactured after 11/1/16 will have that problem fixed, just letting you know, but as far as the sc version there aren't any problem really with it

There's no real issues with EVGA cards, get an EVGA card if you want, just don't buy a GTX 1080

The card is over priced for what you are getting, when you can buy a sister card and get near same results.

Waste of money. Not worth the premium over the GTX 1070. If you just want the highest end logical GPU, wait for Vega and 1080Ti, or go SLI 1070s. Otherwise, single GTX 1070 is the wisest option right now. GTX 1080 would make more sense if it was closer to GTX 1070 pricing, but they're still $600+ and they just are not worth it.
