That rank has pretty much lost it's meaning. I mean, look at the people who has it. Some of them haven't been posting for quite a while. And some have not even been online for almost a year.

Not saying this because I think I should have it, because I sure don't. I'm not very active nor good at designing compared to some others on here.
Also, don't get me wrong, all of them probably deserved it in the first place, and still have the skills, but when they're so rarely posting, I don't see the point in them having it.

They got it for winning the contest.
Just because they go inactive after a year of receiving it doesn't mean it should be stripped from them.
