I think RRA might be the ticket, I'll have to do some research here in a bit, but I see they offer the LAR 47 which would be perfect as it'll (hopefully) have the AK reliability paired with the AR looks.

I'm thinking about getting the LAR-8 elite operator, then when I turn 21 pick up a LAR-47 tactical and make it an SBR

You'll like it, trust me. If you are a fan of AR's then you will definitely enjoy it.

The only thing i didn't like was when i got it, it was a few years back so it was the first generation model and it had fixed iron sights. I had to remove it and put a new gas block on which was a pain in the ass to find the proper one.

I like my AK variants better than the ARs, but I think AR might be the way to go at this point. I'm doing a bit of research on the LAR47, and that is not the gun for me. It seems like there is a lot of issues with failure to eject and failure to feed, so I might just end up with the LAR8.

Me personally, i've never fired the LAR-47 so i wouldn't know but i have put about 500 or so rounds through my LAR-8 and never had one feed problem or misfire.

If you decide on the LAR-8. I use a MONARCH 7 3-12x56 SF Matte Advanced BDC.
Amazing scope, it took a long ass time to zero but it's pinpoint.

How far out do you shoot it / how accurate is it? I'm hoping to stay at or below 1 MOA at 100 yards, I know a lot of it has to do with the operator and not the unit lol, but just curious.

Right now, it's zero'd at 300 yards. But i want to drop it down because i wanted to just see the potential of the rifle/scope.

RAS-47 was sold yesterday and I bought a Norinco SKS with an SG works bullpup kit (specs and pic on first post)!
