I recently did a clean install of windows and forgot to backup my screencap tool iCap. I had a really old version of it where all you had to do was open the program and chose what you wanted to capture. Now I tried it on the newest version and I can't figure it it. Anyone know of any easy to use screen capture tools?

I personally use two different types of screen cap tools, both free and downloadable. Gyazo, or prntscr (aka lightshot) I would recommend either to you.

I use [ Register or Signin to view external links. ] , it uploads directly to imgur (or any other uploading site you choose) and there are a bunch of tools you can use to edit screenshots on the fly.

Gyazo is simple to use and used by most users.
Light shot is simple to use as well but I prefer it over Gyazo because you can add text or draw lines to what you screen capped.
Helps for certain things when you wanna maybe circle something on your screen.

ShareX, easily best program for screenshots. Gyazo is pretty bad imo, their website takes years to load even low res images. Get a program that uploads to imgur.

ShareX is pretty good as you can just hover your mouse over a region of your screen and capture or click and drag. It also auto uploads to Imgur and you can just press ctrl + V and it will paste the image link.
