I'd most definitely buy some land and build myself a house. I plan to do that already, but if I was handed 1 million dollars I'd jump right on this.

A new house and a new car, then I'd probably make some sort of investment.

I would take care of my family, get my mom her dream car, and invest the rest into high tier company's.

1.) pay all my existing student loans off
2.) pay for the rest of my bachelors degree outright in cash
3.) pay off all credit debt
4.) pay off existing car loan
5.) buy myself a nice new 2017 car outright that isn't over the top, nothing over the top with a max budget of 40k
6.) save the rest for when I'm ready to buy a house. No point in buying a house now before I'm set up with my education and my career.
7.) anything that's left after that will be saved.
