That way you can overclock the 7600k when it comes to it and maybe have it last you an extra year or two before you need an upgrade. If Z270 boards are end of life when youre looking to buy, then it might be harder to find something at a reasonable price but that still gives you a good year or so.

Hate reviving a post, but ive had my 7600k a few days now and its 60 degrees on idle, as in just running windows, surely this isnt normal
