At my school it seems to be a trend to go down to the park at lunchtime and fight people. People ask other people if they want to fight them (for no reason). And you're probably thinking "Oh, it's just 'play-fighting'." I thought that too, until I saw a student with blood running down him going through his white shirt on his school uniform. Apparently that happened because he was in a fight down at the park and the opposing person picked up a piece of broken glass and cut him with it.
Today some random chubby kid came up to me in the toilets when I was washing my hands and he said he wanted to fight me, he then tried (and I mean tried) to punch me and I just blocked his punch, pushed him back and exited the toilets. Just to let you know I'm not some black-belt karate ninja, it was just really easy to block his punch lol. Anyway people are getting injured almost everyday Monday-Friday with these park fights and the school isn't doing anything to prevent this from happening.
If you are ever in the situation where somebody wants to fight you in school stay away from it or if they want to fight you on the spot and you feel as if you are in danger, never strike first wait for them to strike and try to block it, also try not to attack back unless you cannot escape safely.

There are many stupid people in this world, and they do stupid things.
But i disagree with you last statement. I don't understand why somebody would want to let someone try and hit them. All you need is one good punch and you could be knocked out or worse. I'm all for trying to get away from fighting, but if I had to choose between trying to block the first punch or throwing the first punch, i'm going to choose the first punch every time.

Grappling and slap boxing was one of the best parts of school.
Fist fights when people take it too far is when it gets interesting. It seems to be more common in the UK for grappling/ take downs to occur rather than just smacking each other till one person is knocked out.
I was taught never make the first punch; let them do it then use appropriate force to take him down and choke him out till he gives up. If they instigate it then aslong as you are measured with your response then you are covered legally.

Yeah it's pretty sad how stupid some people are. I guess the stupid are weeding themselves out of this world so it all works out.

When i was in high school, i saw a fight between two black women, which was the scariest thing ever since you know...all the weaves goin left and right. They fought and the one girl's boyfriend got up from the lunch table and ate his lunch at a random table while the two girls fought. They both were arrested and everyone boo'd. I swear i could smell their weaves from where i was standing.
