I've been messing about looking at tutorials and stuff , really enjoying it just wish i had a better end result to be happier with but this was a start to a mascot logo

it will take me a bit of time but this is my 2nd day trying graphics bare with me boiss, please give me some feedback and tips

If you want a better end result then take your time, don't rush things.
It looks like you tried to go for a skull like image but it just looks odd imho.
