Recently I've heard that people that got the new update (W10) started getting lag. Just use an older version of Windows .

P.S. Check your task manager incase you are using a lot of your PC with unused apps. Also this topic should be under Computers not off topic

Seriously? Don't post something unless you know what your saying. Windows 10 is not your problem unless there is underlying system corruption.

To the OP,

Game boosters aren't legit. Usually loaded with adware. You can do the same thing they do just by ending unnecessary processes. Just because you updated and checked for viruses doesn't mean there isn't any. Use malwarebytes and super anti spyware to scan for malware. If nothing is found/doesn't solve your issue, next step would be to check for windows file corruption. Open up CMD as admin and type sfc /scannow . That will take a while. If that scan comes back clean you can check for hard drive corruption/failure by running checkdisk from the CMD. Type chkdsk C: if your main drive letter is C.

Also, how are you temperatures? Is your CPU/GPU too hot and thermal throttling?

Keep an eye on both CPU and GPU utilisation, and temperatures. What coolers are you using for both, and what speed are they running at? What games are you playing? If you're trying to max out AAA titles, that's your problem, the GTX 780 is an old card, not capable of playing AAA titles maxed. It'll perform similarly to a GTX 1050Ti, or at best, a 3GB GTX 1060. You should however be able to play comfortably at 1080p with a 4770k and GTX 780.

Try clearing some files you don't need on your hard drive
