Use this calculator really accurate !

[ Register or Signin to view external links. ]

Also depending on your goals and body type , height , age etc that calculator should sort u out for the nutrional side.

As for training i am not sure what your goals are , mine atm are bulking and gaining mass and then cut sometime down the road.

You don't necessarily need to be calorie counting, and the main reason why I say this is because I don't want you calorie restricting because that is not healthy.

The main thing I would advise you to do though is eat clean. What I mean by this is lots of fruits and vegetables, some proteins, and very small amount of carbs.

The way that works best for most people is to eat 6 days completely clean - no crap, then on the 7th day you can allow yourself to have a cheat day. This helps your body by making it believe that you are getting all the calories you need and will not allow it to go into starvation mode.

Stay away from Trans fats at all costs, they are the worst for you.

As for your workouts, stick to cardio if you are wanting to lose weight. If you are trying to cut, you do not want to be adding muscle at the same time. Stick strictly to cardio and drink tons of water. When I mean tons of water, I mean you should be drinking 1 gallon of water a day.

Stick to this for a few months and I can guaranttee that you will lose a lot of weight.

Hope this helps

The only way you are going to loose weight is if you are in a caloric deficit that is all.

HIIT. Simplest way to shed weight quick. Eat cleaner foods.

I weighed nearly 17st at the start of 2016 and I'm 6'4. I now weigh 13'5, and now I'm looking to build muscle. Don't wanna be ripped though, just big chest and shoulders and arms haha.

A personal trainer told me that cardio isn't needed when trying to lose weight because cardio is used to improve your cardiovascular and weight training is the thing you should focus on as well as having a good nutrition plan where you are eating healthy and in a calorific deficit. If you are craving junk food then don''t eat it often, maybe have a cheat day if you really need it but obviously don't do it too often. Stop drinking soda and start drinking water instead.

If you start weight training you don't have to start heavy. Just focus on yourself and what is best for you. Also, the more muscles you have the more calories you'll burn.

TTG_Suspect wrote Iv recently joking the gym and trying to loose weight, I am counting calories and eating healthy. At the gym if I want to loose 2stone in 5months should I just focus on cardio, or should I do weight training just as much? As I am new to this I have no idea what the best way for me to loose weight is.
