Just because the thing you're aiming is in focus does not make it a good picture.
here are 2 things you should take away from this is..
- you need to learn how to balance exposure, shutter speed, and iso on your camera.
- you need to close your aperture some, or you need to use a shorter lens. I'd recommend 18mm-55mm if you're starting out.

Not bad! Any suggestions on a camera? If i'm gonna get one might as well get a really nice one, my budget is like 600-1000$

i use a pentax KS-2 and i got 2 lenses when i bought it, most of these are taken on a new lens, but the 2 that come with it are very good. i would seriously recommend it. it was £600 with 2 lenses when i bought it about 6 months ago
