Yeah this is true, but at the same time TTG is mainly known as a modding community, even though their trying to get out of the modding community. Cause back in the day when I first joined that was mainly all ppl would join for but now it's progressed into much more.

It's like the kids who are begging for xbox live codes to get online, uh like hello, you get 3 xbox accounts per KV? and you have free gold anyway, not even that but there's always that kid who get infected by someone then says he's legit and you have to pay, I've seen people who have asked me personally to pay for something when they cannot show me proof at all, they claim they have a JTAG/RGH when they're using USB mods, I met a guy on World At War, I was using ISO mods and this guy said he had a Jtag then he was telling me these menu's that did not exist, so I pull host in the game and he started blabbing on how he has his mod menu in my lobby. I then call him out that he's only got usb mods at the time he was using xKov but said he was using a RGH ( so I told him I had one ) he asked me which I had, then I asked him what he had he gave me the exact same answer anything I told him he told me and yet he was asking me to purchase from him..

Believe it or not, it was 10x worse than this before, its actually not too bad anymore. Modding isn't exactly rare like it used to be pretty much any kid with $200 can start modding after watching some youtube videos. I know where you're coming from as I hate them too, how some of them ask for gold trials to 'get online' and host even though basically every stealth server has gold spoofing built in. All I can say is ignore them, they are most likely looking for some reactions to try and piss people off so just don't bother with it

By far the worst are the Xe kids who can't mod and try to act like they can when in reality they have to beg others lol.

yeah man ive been around here a fair few years, in the old days MW2 specifically there was heaps of them around.

It's simple, look at their time, look at their post, if they put time into it, they're at least giving a attempt to host, seems like you run into those people like

"legit lobby here mw2 everything" then you get into the post and it only says
"message iquikscope420xx and say you suck to get into my lobby." then you think, wow this is totally legit i just gotta tell someone they suck and i get a lobby? too easy. and then you wonder why you didn't get a invite.
