Yeah none of this is working with the drivers or without the drivers I've tried these steps in this order uninstall drivers(for the z22 and the realtek), reboot, reinstall drivers for both.

could this be an issue with the motherboard itself or no? cause the usb port works ive tried plugging in something else to it and it works. The way this headset plugs in though is weird i have a pink(mic in) a green speaker out and a blue speaker in and ive tried all of those and none work.

No it shouldn't be, call your mobo manufacturer and troubleshoot with them
