Straight up...

Who else can't stand the fact that no matter where you go now a days, the Restaurant Business is becoming more about profit and less about Good Quality Food?

I'm talking Franchises like Olive Garden that used to make some great food but now its like... wow this obviously came from a plastic bag.

Red Lobster, Applebees, TGI Fridays, Heck even something as cheap as iHop its just... Wow. Where did decent food go?

Thanks for any input.

Maybe you just have really high standards and take your profession very seriously.

I wait until the gas station down the road is soon to close so I can get the rock hard, overheated "food" for less than half price

Restaurants have great food, if anything, it has gotten better. There are more options and more businesses. I think what you meant to do was talk about fast food. Places like McDonald's, have gotten worse. As you said... They are more worried about profit, and less worried about Good Quality Food.

Olive Garden and sit down type of restaurants I cant tell a difference. But fast food yes, there is definitely a difference. The quality of fast food has gone down quite a bit in the fast 20-30 years. I think its has to do with fast food being in higher demand.

If you want to see a difference in food quality, look at public school food in the US.. wow has that tanked HARD.

It's public school food.. pretty sure it's always been gross.

Seriously though, when my brother went to my HS, the food was way better and now they have students cooking the food for a class or some shit and it's disgusting.
