Everyone loves a good kill cam... My precious red tail boa eating a rat. She's female and her name is Sahloknir (One of the dragons from Skyrim). This was about a year ago actually, I tend to stick with frozen rabbits / 5XL guinea pigs as she is now 9+ feet long and 25lbs. She's only 4!! The strike follows up with a time lapse of her swallowing it. It usually takes around 5-10 minutes depending on how stupid she's acting & how big the meal is. (She tries to swallow a$$ first all the time)

Please don't whine about the poor rat... its food. Just like the slaughtered cow in your burger.

ENJOY!!

Great video man! On average how much does it cost to feed a snake of that size each month? I will assume that it isnt too much since they only eat a couple times?

I purchase the rabbits and such online... It's usually around $150 for everything with shipping, but it can easily be stretched out over a year. If I were to buy them one at a time from a petco, it would be +$200 at least... Plus you cant buy frozen rabbits in store.

I know you wouldn't feed your snake rats that had diseases, but are the rats checked out before being sold? or how does that work.
