i need to make my xbox 360 run off a vpn cause im tired of people who just hit anyone offline
ive seen alot of tutorials but i cant do most of them.
i have a custom built desktop computer and most of the tut's make you plug a ethernet cable from pc to 360 but then i wont have a another ethernet port to get internet on my computer i have only 1 port for ethernet cable so there goes that idea.
is there anyway to make my router a vpn or use my iphone as a middle man like somehow use my own internet as a hotspot instead of my phone company hotspot cause i only have 4gs of data and after that it slows down alot

Setup VPN on Xbox through WindowsThis was taken from another site, just ask google in future.
First make sure you have hide.me software installed and working on your Windows device.
Connect your Xbox 360 & Xbox One to your computer using a crossover cable.
Click the Windows Menu Button at the bottom left hand of the screen.
From the menu list, click on Control Panel.
Once Control Panel window opens, click on Network and Sharing Center.
Click on Change Adaptor Settings on the left hand side of the screen.
Right click on the icon titled hide.me and then select the option titled Properties.
Once the properties window is displayed open the tab titled Sharing.
Now, place a check mark on the option titled Allow other network users to connect through this computers internet connection.
Click on the option titled Home Networking Connection. It will reveal a dropdown menu with your available internet connections, and possibly a connection titled Xbox. Select Xbox (if it is available) and if it is not available, then click on the connection you want to share with your console.
Click ok.
Now, connect your computers hide.me Windows App to hide.mes desired server.
On your Xbox 360 & Xbox One controller, press the LIVE button to go into the menu.
Now, go to Settings tab and then select System Settings.
Under the System Settings tab, select Network Settings.
Under the Network Settings tab, select Wired Network.
Now, accept all settings and continue for a Test Connection.
Once everything is connected, simply sign in to your Xbox 360 & Xbox One account. And youre done!

Skip the googled response as he was called out.
And yes, are you on a laptop or a PC? Does your PC/laptop have at least two ethernet ports?
Pretty basic with the way windows and the networking adapters work.
You will notice if you have wireless and a port on your laptop/PC you will be able to use both at once, the ethernet cable supplies network to the console, and the wifi chip/card provides to the laptop just vpn the laptop and it goes to the console.
shittily said this is a proper way to do this.

Just turn on the vpn from the computer. Make sure the vpn connection is set to be shared. Plug ethernet in to computer and xbox. Test wired connection. Finished. Thats how i do it

You'd need a 2nd NIC in your PC, run VPN on your PC and connect your xbox to your PC via ethernet. Check network settings from your xbox once this is done and see if you're using a different IP address.
