Hi, currently using a 27" 1440p monitor, but looking to upgrade.
With 1440p already looking quite, small, almost of the 27" monitor, if that makes sense, i'm not too keen on getting a 28" 4K Panel, especially with Windows scaling being horrible apparently.
I'd be sitting around 30" away from the TV on the desk also
Is anyone using a large TV as their PC monitor or have done before and have any feedback?
Not looking to spend nearly 400GBP on a mistake lol
The exact TV im looking at getting is the LG 43UH620V also.
thanks!

It really depends on what your doing with the monitor e.i, watching movies,
If your watching movies, I don't see why not however, if your gaming it might seem weird gaming on a 43" display.

Movies, Gaming, Web Browsing mainly,
as far as games go i dont play too many twitchy shooters, so im hoping the extra input lag isnt going to be much of an issue

CFO wrote You should in no way be sitting that close to a tv not only will you hurt your eyes you will also miss important details of the show/video/game that close
ahh , didnt think it'd be that much of an issue, just maybe take a little time to adjust, but not interested in screwing with my eyes, thanks,

You would be fine with like a 32" tv or just move back another foot or do and you'd be fine

Doesn't seem too easy to find a 32" 4K TV, found one or two 30" 4K monitors but they were roughly 800GBP, which isnt happening lol
& also havent got the space to move it back a foot, maybe a couple inches more

Nay, it will put too much strain on your eyes. PC Monitors are designed so they hardly strain your eyes.

I have a 43" Samsung 2016 4K tv and I sit exactly 7 feet away from it. I've tried going closer and it's very uncomfortable, I cannot see the entire image on the display without having to move my head. So I'd recommend 7 feet for a 43" screen.
