Due to the nature of the site, it might be suitable to put images of games that have their own forums as well as something to deal with the other parts of the site. E.G. Programming forum, Graphics Forum, etc just to name a few.

Totally agree, I'll create some banners tonight for sections such as programming to show the style it should go as

Final version looks sick! Much better than the current

Now that final version looks awesome! So much cleaner and professional looking than whats in use.
