Cioran wroteRabbi_NASA wrote President Trump has every right to do this. They are well within their right to revoke visas if it means that protecting America from foreign threats.
I don't think this ban is needed given how strong the US vetting process is, but even if the US didn't have a strong vetting process this ban wouldn't be needed.
The US should take any genuine refugees that attempt to enter and should relocate them to Muslim majority countries in the middle east. Where is the sense in taking a Syrian refugee and moving them to Scotland when there is room for them in the countries surrounding Syria, where they will be closer to their homes once the situation is resolved?
Unfortunately, I don't see how this would work right now; without some sort of funding going into the countries to take in refugees from both the US and even Europe. Believe me, I honestly believe more Middle Eastern countries should be taking them in, instead of Europe being the go-to destination but I don't see it happening without some funding. I believe Saudi Arabia has taken in 0 refugees or at least an abysmal number that wouldn't matter on any list (there's probably articles saying they took in zero and other articles about how they have taken in all these numbers, I don't know anymore what that country has done.) You can probably throw Qatar and the UAE in there too; maybe some I'm missing. Yemen literally can't do it with what is happening over there with them. Jordan took in a lot of them, Turkey took quite a bit; albeit more likely for the EU-Turkey deal that seems to have fallen under. I think more Middle Eastern countries would need funding to have this work. Europe is trying to do this with some African countries to try and slow down migrants crossing from Africa into Italy and Greece.
I do agree with what you said with refugees being closer to their home and a culture they are more accustomed to. I can use myself as an example. I was not a refugee, however my mom took the whole family from Russia when I was 13 and basically just threw me into America, whole new lifestyle. Yes, there were some similar things or at least very close, but still, being thrown into a whole new lifestyle, really stressed me out at a young age. Having them coming from a Middle Eastern country and then having to live in a Western country causes problems for refugees and for the people when the refugees try to have things changed to fit their customs, such as trying to have pork removed from school menus just because a religion of a small group says they can't eat it. There's countless other examples of refugees trying to adapt and change things to fit their customs, that cause issues for the refugees and for the Westerners; which I believe would almost all be solved, if they were living in a country that shares or at least almost identical customs.

I dont agree with this move. I think that some syrian refugees should be allowed in the country. Especially the ones that already had thier visas and were in America.

I'm from England but I love what Trump is doing. I wish here in the U.K. We had someone like Nigel Farage running our country as he is pretty similar to Trump himself and his beliefs.
The only people moaning about entry stopped into your country is the Muslims themselves, why keep letting your country be threatened for future terror attacks? Nobody moaned when Obama banned everyone from Iraq for 6 months to get into the US back in 2011 so why's it an issue because Trump is doing it.
Also why is it your problem to help people from other country's? It isn't and it isn't Englands nor any other European country's problem, might sound harsh to some but I for one want a safe place for my children to grow up and not have to go out and deal with what I have witnessed in my 21 year life time already.
Your country I believe is in safe hands and will do a lot better than what it ever has done before being run by the people who are corrupt.

Not even remotely close to being true.

You're telling me that all of those people are Muslims?

Not a single person in the US has been killed by a foreign national of any of the countries on the ban list.
You're more likely to be killed by a toddler who gets their hands on a firearm than terrorism committed by a refugee.

I'd agree with this if it weren't extremely hypocritical. We give tens of billions of dollars in aid to countries that don't need it or deserve it like Israel, but we shouldn't help some of the most vulnerable people in the world?

We give tens of billions to Israel for two reasons, they are our only allie in the Middle East, and they are the bulk of our weapons and research agreements because of their technologies.

Saudi Arabia, Jordan, Egypt, Kuwait, Bahrain, Morroco, Qatar, UAE, and Turkey are all US allies in the middle east.

Let me restate the what I said. Israel is the only country in the middle-east that lines up with our agenda, they are also the only nationthat has a democracy in the middle-east.

The only real issue I have with it all, is the fact all of our country's have their own problems to sort out for their home people, instead we all seem to help every other country instead of our own issues and it just makes me laugh..
Fair enough that they have nowhere to go, but that's not true! We could help them by sending them to their own country's and all world army's come together to defeat ISIS and the terror issues, it's that simple but our governments are too dumb to do anything properly! They need foot patrols to get rid of them not bombing innocent places in that country.

It really isn't that simple.
While I understand and agree with just your premise, in practice it wouldn't work. You literally cannot kill an idea.

He literally doesn't.
He's the President of the United States. He doesn't have absolute power. The Constitution guarantees due process.
That is why a federal judge put a halt to his travel ban.
Actually it specifically states in the Constitution that the POTUS can deny entry from nations if they feel those nations pose a threat to our national security. So technically he is well within his rights
