So I want this on my back on sides where it starts short then gets longer but im not sure what you have to ask for?

Help would be appreciated!

according to the barber its called fade(i barely get my hair cut nor styled so i could be wrong) but thats what my barber calls it

i ask my barber for a 1 to 2 fade on the side you can go shorter if you want thats either a 1 to 2 or 2 to 3
