Your HDD may not be initialized. Try doing this, should work.

Follow these steps:

> Start Button

> Type Disk Management & click "Create and format hard disk partions"

In the window that opened, you should see your SSD which should have a blue box around it and a black box around your HDD.

> On the left of the black box where you see your HDD capacity, right click anywhere in the box and click Initialize Disk.

> In the box that appears, make sure you tick MBR (Master Boot Record) and press OK.

> Now right click your un-allocated HDD with the black box around it, and click New Simple Volume.

At this point you can just click next until you get to the Finish button.

Hope this helps!

Prebuilt? or is it just a normal tower?

Best buy is known to sell issued towers, i know at least 3-5 people who have had issues with them.

In disk management it shows both drives as active right? If so what is your OS installed on? The HDD or the SSD, wouldn't make a whole lot of sense for it to be on the HDD on this point.

Go into disk management.

In your windows search bar type in "create and format hard disk partitions" like this -

You should see your hard drive and SSD listed on the left hand side (Disk 0 and Disk 1)

Whichever is your 1TB HDD, right click on it and click "create partition". You should be able to see the 1TB HDD in your file explorer now
