Decided to shorten everything due to how long the previous post was. Old room mate planned to leave Florida and neglected to make plans for the cat we had back then. And we found that out after he had already left, so me, my fiance, and my old room mates ex girlfriend went to the old house and found he had been left alone for days in a house with no central air, in the Florida heat, for DAYS.
So I went in and got him out, we gave him some food and some water, but not too much in case his stomach had shrunk due to the neglect he had obviously experienced even before being left alone for days. And we got him out of there, and we set him up that night in his ex's house because she's still a good friend of mine, and she wanted the cat anyway but he never made a plan with her. New food and water bowls, litter box, treats, toys, everything.
Since that night, he's been taken to the vet, tagged, and had a checkup, and paperwork has been filed due to the fact that he was unregistered, but now has a designated human lady owner. He's gotten accustomed to the new house, and he's still not 100% but he's gaining his weight back too slowly, he's a good kitty, and now, without any further stalling, I present to you, Captain Floof!!!
I don't need donations for his care or anything like that, we have it handled, I just wanted to show you guys my old kitty and share the story of how we rescued him from possible death, by the hands of my old careless room mate, and his equally careless brother.

Wow what a scumbag.
Good on you guys, I always wanted a cat growing up but my mom would never let me.
Maybe I should get one now since I'm an adult lol.

The hand in said picture is not mine because my hands are definitely not that tiny, those hands belong to my old room mates ex I spoke of, who is a huge part of the reason this cat has a home now, and I have no say in if she cuts them or not lol

First thing I did when I became an adult, is ate a bowl of straight up brownie mix, and that is how I learned that my mom did have a good reason for telling me no when I was younger, but as for a cat, I see no downside, go get yourself a tiny furry companion!!!
