Been looking online for deals on larger spaced SSD's, only really seeing Samsung as the typical top choice.

Anyone have any other recommendations?

The 3 I'd be looking at. If you want 1TB instead of 500GB, but want a better drive than the MX300, the 1TB 850 EVO is a little over $300. The 960 EVO is useless for most people so unless you're going to benefit from it's much faster speeds, consider the MX300 or 850 EVO for higher capacity.

I change peoples laptops from hdd to sdd quite often, I've tried alot and ive found that this one really does the job on a budget, for its speeds, and software for transfer that comes with it I can't find a reason to pay the extra for the samsung when this pny one gets the job done and its cheaper, you might wanna go into the bestbuy store the I buy them there for $135 (usd) [ Register or Signin to view external links. ]

Most of the posts here are for price/gb

So it makes sense, the price for that pny drive is a bit much imho.

PNY isn't the highest performance drives there are, honestly seen some of Sandisks SSDs perform equal for half that really. Also no one said the cheapest thing? I said price/gb meant GB*. But how does that accumulate to the cheapest with the most colors? lmao

No need to go on a comment rampage because of a opinion lol
