PNY isn't the highest performance drives there are, honestly seen some of Sandisks SSDs perform equal for half that really. Also no one said the cheapest thing? I said price/gb meant GB*. But how does that accumulate to the cheapest with the most colors? lmao

Speaking from personal experience, PNY SSD's are crap. They are cheap and their performance is shocking.

I paid £37 per SSD which I thought was a brilliant price for a 120GB SSD, but their performance was absolutely shocking. If I knew earlier, I'd have happily paid more for the Samsung EVO SSD's.

I purchased around 5 from Scan to use within our office as some of the laptops were getting sluggish, I replaced the slow HDD's in the laptops with the PNY CS1311 120GB SSD's and I certainly was not impressed with their performance.

PNY for 480gb is $134? Yet you could get matched performance from a Ultra II 480gb from Sandisk for $4 less with tax and subtotal paid. Same performance nearly. Personally more reputable, since Sandisk is apart of WD.

+1 for the Sandisk SSD's, I implemented a couple of Z410s on desktop PC's which are joined to the domain so they only really have the OS & basic software (Outlook, Word, Excel) installed. £50 per 120GB SSD & I do not have anything to complain about. The users have not had any issues with system performance since the upgrades.

Yesterday was a bad day for me, I wanted to become more active just had a bad day. I'm gonna fix it please ignore my posts above, I was purely arguing for the sake of arguing. I still stick behind the pny though I like how its 130$ and it comes with the transfer software that works good when im transferring from HDD to SSD

Also: I wasn't evaluating the SSD Based on the OS I evaluated them on windows and determained that Obviously samsung was the best and I would be using windows the most so windows stayed on that one, then linux which I use for programming, I would use alot but not as much as windows, and pny fit for that, and the other I didnt use really at I just installed hackintosh for fun, so I put it on the crucial drive

My bestbuy is selling the PNY CS1311 for $130 instore only, same with the bestbuy by my college.
