Yes, but I need to earn money in order to purchase a decent ASIC miner, an Avalon 6 to be exact. That costs about $700 and I don't have the money to put towards it yet.

But yes, as suggested, ASIC GPU is a MUST if you're going to get into bitcoin & cryptocurrency mining. You will have to invest in the correct equipment if you want to consider making a profit. Don't expect to make your money back straight away though.

Correct, Bitcoin IS on the up and up however it could drop, same with any other cryptocurrency right? Think how long would it take to mine a single bitcoin with his setup, he'd be loosing out on money IMO.

Bitcoin is roughly around 2014 prices, and i remember making profit from the 2014 market. What i meant to say rather then just "high", it is peaking its all time high this year once again. The market will be up as ether trading continues to grow evermore in the crypto market.

Here is a estimate for OP. You buy a 700$ ASIC, you add anywhere between $50-75-100 yearly may not seem like much, but mark out your internet prices, cable and other living service prices.

You will go negative in profit regardless since bitcoin mining is so common nowadays. That is why i mentioned ether while it is still new to the market.
