Have visited Spain after hosting a foreign exchange student in high school. I had become very good at speaking it so we traveled there.

Spain is beautiful, but scamming was a big thing. The girl we hosted and her mother had been mugged numerous times. I'm not trying to scare you out of anything, as I am sure that was just a coincidence!

I've been to Yellowstone park here in the United States and a student was working abroad through a program similar to yours. He said he loved it. He had many friends from his country (Croatia) do work over in Spain and they all said nothing but good things!

I have visited Spain around 11 times, 3 of them being Ibiza, except I was a lot younger and went there on a family holiday so it's going to be crazy going there to work, but as you said Spain isbvert bad for pick pockets and mugs just got to keep your eyes open pal..
