I'm gonna be building a PC soon, gonna try to get a few parts for my birthday then buy the rest...
Is this a good build? [ Register or Signin to view external links. ]
I need insight on ways to make it better or more aforable, thanks
I want to be playing games maxed out, be able to run many programs quickly, and parts that will last years.

If you want to save $100, you could ditch the windows 10 disc and install the one from microsofts website with a usb, as long as you don't mind having a water mark in the bottom right corner of your screen.

You want all your pc to do all this stuff but don't want to pay for quality parts? That isn't going to work out well. Don't cheap out in things is what I've learned while building pcs. But also, you need to do your research on parts as well.

No, that's trash. The PSU and SSD are terrible, and over-priced.
Don't get half off the system as gifts and then buy the rest later, that's stupid and it's how you end up with a shitty mismatched system. Come back when you have the money to build a system, and buy everything at the same time. You don't need to spend $1600, and you've obviously just gone and added a bunch of expensive shit to a list, which is a terrible idea, that's not how you build a system. We can definitely help you with a parts list, but only when you're ready to buy and you'd need to read the rules first because we need enough information to be able to help you.

You obviously don't understand. I already have more than enough money saved. I'm waiting for my birthday so I don't spend my money on a few parts. I'm getting them all at the same time.
All I need is help picking better parts.
You said the PSU and SSD or terrible, all I need is better parts and the reason they are better

How am I cheaping things out? I don't even have a price range. I asked what parts I need that are better than the ones I have chosen.
Read before you up your post count pls.

Ah yes, it's my fault you didn't clarify.

We need to know what monitor you're using, if you have one.
We need to know what exactly you'll be using the system for.
We need to know if you have any aesthetic/colour scheme preferences.
Will you overclock?
Do you need any peripherals, if so what?
What is your budget, that you're comfortable spending?
