1.) Does it give you an error?
A: Yes, it did, but I would need to boot it up again to tell you exactly what it said.

A: No, I do not have the recovery disc, but I did download windows 10 to a flash drive (bootable version).

A: No, I have tried all recovery options, just gives an error code after about 50%.

What I personally would do is, is reinstall Windows again! (I know... annoying!), delete and format all your partitions before allocating disk space for Windows (Pre-installation). When you are greated on the desktop, restart and boot in 'safe mode with networking', download Windows updates and drivers before you do anything!!!

All you need to do is reinstall the OS (Windows 10).

Boot to USB > You should be brought onto a Win10 installation page, follow the procedure through till you get to a screen which asks you to choose a drive to install to. Delete ALL partitions from the list apart from your USB which has the OS installation on. You should be left with only your HDD/SSD and your USB.

Once you have deleted all partitions, format your drive you want to install the OS on and just install directly to the drive. No need to create partitions or anything for the OS, this will only cause more confusion. If you would like to create partition, just do it in disk management through Win10 after installation.

Note: Make sure you remove your USB with the Win10 installation on it after the process is complete and you are logged on so you do not get stuck in the installation loop next time you restart!

Soooo as you said re-format the partitions and create a new partition to where is should make a recovery partition as well as the new local disk drive (commonly known as the C: drive).

When you are greeted at the desktop complete the following:
1) Press start menu
2) Type in 'msconfig'
3) Go to the 'boot' ribbon/tab
4) Tick 'safe boot' and select the 'network' choice
5) Apply > Ok

Before you restart! Turn 'user account control down' (UAC), again:
1) Start menu
2) Search 'UAC'
3) Drag the bar to the bottom > OK

Now restart the machine and you will be in Safe mode with networking. When on the desktop you need to proceed with downloading the latest drivers and even firmware for your motherboard is applicable. To find out your system specs without downloading a program:

1) Right click start button
2) System
3) Tell us your system specs.
