So whenever i try to open up my malware protection program i always see a error that says "The parameter is incorrect". I dont have any idea what that even means. If anyone can help that would be great.

Your system could be infected or it could just be a reg key error

Run MBAM.exe from a USB drive and scan your whole PC.
If the system is clean, try a re-installation of windows.

Which AV have you got? When downloading various types of anti-virus' you have to set parameters which work with your machine.

Try and repair the program in windows features or run as admin to see if that brings any luck.
